Hot Lunch Program

 About Our Program

Our goal is to give the students of South Branch hot lunch opportunities during the week. Ensuring that our lunch program meets  all requirements of the Healthy Schools Act has been a priority for Parent Council and all North Grenville Family of Schools. Our Hot Lunch Program relies on volunteers within our school community in order to run.  Please reach out to our [email protected] if you can support this program with 1 hour of your time.   


Our current program is structured as follows:
  • Wednesday is Pizza Day: 1 cheese slice on a whole wheat crust. Source:  Gabriel's Pizza
  • Thursday is Subs: choice of veggie, turkey or ham on multigrain bun.

You may also select to purchase white or chocolate milk, apple or orange juice for every day of the order period.

All of our Hot Lunch orders are processed through the UCDSB My Family Room program. Once the order has closed, late orders cannot be accommodated.  Funds are required to be uploaded to PayPal before you place an order.  

Snow Day Policy
Please note that if buses are cancelled due to inclement weather, our lunch program does not run as scheduled. If your child will be at school, please send a lunch.  You will need to follow South Branch UCDSB Facebook for the replacement date.  

Student Absence
If your child is absent on a hot lunch order day, the food is not saved/store, delivered to siblings or refunded.

Please keep in mind that all proceeds from our lunch program are used to fund activities at South Branch and benefit all of the students within our school.
